Fr George's Spiritual YouTube Videos
8/8 & 9- Fr. George Fleming celebrates Mass at the Church of St. Joseph in Stuyvesant Falls, NY, assisted by seminarian Dan McHale and accompanied by Diane Doring. Dan McHale shares insights into his vocation as he prepares for ordination Sept 5th as a Deacon, and next year, into the Priesthood. Filmed and edited by Aaron McGuirk, Justine Rodriguez and Beth Lenahan.
8/4- Fr. George got away for a few days last week, and when he came back, was powerfully moved by the very beginning of the famous Gospel of the loaves and fishes. Listen to how, confronted with overwhelming human need, Christ moves from seclusion to compassion. Enjoy this short video reflection on the Gospel and consider its meaning in your life.
Father George is pleased to announce the arrival of seminarian Dan McHale and is looking forward to his serving in our three parishes. Born and raised in Stuyvesant, Dan knows the area well and will provided much needed and appreciated assistance as we begin plans of reopening in the near future. Dan thought this link to the Albany Vocations website will serve as an initial introduction.
We, the Roman Catholic Parish of Saint John the Baptist, choose to respond to our baptismal call to live and share the message of the Gospel.
We strive to accomplish this through building community, discovering our unique gifts as we serve others, gathering for worship and being sent out to witness.
